Lizzie Riley
Principal Designer

I love design. I always have.

From my early learning, right through high school where I explored visual arts, visual design and photography. I was honoured to have my HSC major work exhibited in ArtExpress and still have the pieces proudly displayed in my home.

My early working life took me into business administration and executive secretarial roles, where I chanced upon the field of marketing communications and this became my career path for many years. My university studies in business, majoring in marketing, advertising and promotions management led me to client service, project management and planning roles in multi-national advertising agencies as well as boutique marketing communications and brand strategy studios.

Throughout these years I also enjoyed creating homes, undertaking renovating and re-build projects on my own properties at nights and weekends. I’ve always enjoyed the process of reinventing an existing space or helping to define a new one, being hands on from early concept through to completion.

In 2017, I decided to combine my passions and skills to redirect my career path into interior design.

For the last six years I have enjoyed a variety of creative roles within the industry - furniture and homewares sales consultant, design assistant, interior decorator, interior designer, copywriter and design documenter. I am also a current member of the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDi).

I have completed my Diploma of Interior Design, Certificate IV in Interior Decoration, Certificate IV in Kitchen & Bathroom Design, Certificate IV in Graphic Design as well as short courses in Drafting Standards for Kitchens & Bathrooms and 3D CAD modelling (SketchUp).

If you have an upcoming project you would like to discuss with me, please get in touch.
